Hey Blackburnbob, the rules are a little different for this league. You are allowed unlimted subsititutions each week but are limited on transfers each week. Just look at the rules section of the site, they're pretty simple, there aren't many. It also states the scoring system that is used for scoring points.

About your earlier post about all the former Prem players, you'd probably make a solid team if only chose those players. Convey, Angel, McBride, Keller.

Darren Huckerby too, they all quite expensive though, not sure if you could fit them all in, my bad on the previous post, i meant transfers through lol 1 transfer a week is allowed, wildcard allows free unlimited transfers one time only, subs are automatically used if one of your other players does not play, in the order you selected your subs.

The season starts on Thurs. so make sure you have your roster set so that your team can score points.

First game of the season is on Thurs. night with Seattle playing New York.

I just set up my team for MLS...wow...my defense is terrible, but my strikers and midfielders are solid enough...we'll see how this goes haha.

Somehow I am in the top 300 overall. Hopefully I can keep it up and win myself a prize!

Yeah I had a mediocre-to-subpar week. Completely chose the wrong captain and started the wrong rookie. We'll see, one week at a time...

ps there were some great goals in week 1. Cooper, Pontius, Blanco, that guy on KC...I'm sure I'm missing one or two. Subscribe to "mls" on youtube cause they put together nice highlights on a lot of the matches, maybe all of them. And they also publish goals of the week on that channel, which was very very good this week, say what you want about the overall quality of the games.
