With all the controversy surrounding John Terry, do you think he should keep the captaincy of England, or should it go to someone else? If so who?

I feel like if the captaincy was going to change hands, it should go to Steven Gerrard

For starters, I will refer you to my comment about this subject in the FA Cup fans favorite football blog post.

I like the Gerrard choice; it gives him something extra to play for since his club team won't win anything for the foreseeable future.

Not an awful lot of choice really anyway is there, Gerrard or Rooney, but you would give it to Stevie, as he is a bit more head cool sometimes than Rooney.

Now Terry's armband has gone, just need to get him out the team!!!

Rio deserves it...cool head on his shoulders, experienced, knows how to win trophies, and can lead from the back. Good footballing knowledge.

Good knowledge but again on current form i can't see why he should be in the starting 11?

thankfully for Ferdinand there is enough time between now and the World Cup for him to regain form, especially since he is healthy again
